I am beyond amazed at this adventure we are on.
As of last night, we have made 848 masks! We have run out of shoestrings and 1/4" elastic. These are the last of the hair ties. That is the last baggie we have. We have used 6 large 'spools' of black bias tape. But I was thinking ahead and had a few people cut two-inch strips so I can make bias tape. That will be what I do all day tomorrow. For today I will finish up what's on my table and answer texts and messages on our neighborhood Next Door Neighbor App and supply everyone that gets in touch with me.
This has been a very humbling time for me. People have been way off the charts generous in so many different ways. People stepping up top help any way that they can. They might not have sewing skills but they can cut fabric. They can be my feet on the ground and find supplies. Keeping me going by leaving treats and pic of the yahoos. We are all in this together and I think we make a pretty darn good team.
