I can not even begin to tell you how amazed I have been in this entire process of making masks. God is in every stitch, every hair tie, every bit of compassion and caring for others, and in the willingness of strangers to help out. We all need to feel apart of something and I am glad that our little army grows daily with the people of Milford and Miami Township and beyond.
There are candy deliveries, sweet notes, donations such as quart size bags and hair ties. I am sure that Mt. Washington is having a shortage about now.
These two are trying on their mom's mask. She is our hero. Mandy Lynn loves her job as a nurse and she loves her kids with every ounce of being in her body.
So I whipped up my second pair of kids masks. If you read a blog a few days ago I made The Mandy Lynn. Today I fashioned what is now called The Abigail for Abby's little mask.
Right now we are making these two types of masks...one with a double tie like the hospital staff wears and one with hair ties that go around the ear.
Sometimes there are cookies. Love these. They are from Pop's.
On this day 56 masks left the front porch!!!
I had to call in the cutters to get back to work. Rich tried to get me to take their naughty puppy too.
Jamie cut...
...and I prepped for the next day.
I took a little time to try my hand at a rock that I saw on Pinterest.
We made a delivery to Stone Bowl. Misook and Young needed masks. Ribs were waiting for me to take home. So very thoughtful.
Misook is thrilled with her mask. Young was impressed with the quality of it. I was just thrilled to help. It was so hard not to hug her. WE decided when this is all over and we can hug, we are going down for ribs on the back patio!

I hope you enjoyed my attempt at quilting. I've learned a lot over the years from comments and conversations I have had with friends on the Internet. I hope you will leave a comment that will inspire me to be a better quilter.
